About

Rudolf & MirjamRudolf Jarosewitsch (born 1950) and Mirjam Busch-Jarosewitsch (3 November 1960 – 22 August 2017)

We have been a couple since 1997 and worked as counsellors with a particular interest in body-mind-spirit science and couple therapy.

Like many couples, we had little role modelling showing us what a loving relationship looks like and a whole set of limiting beliefs and pain between us that hid under the surface and showed up as conflict when we got closer. Our journey together had been about healing, growing and cultivating our love together.

Our own insights and understanding have been enriched by the hundreds of individuals and couples who we have been accompanying as counsellors and Gestalt therapists. In search for inspiration and guidance, we have been studying the science of human development and relationship. We offered a unique blend of cutting-edge knowledge, and shared our experience and insights in teaching seminars, experiential workshops, articles and in our work with individuals and couples.

We left our private practice in Christchurch after the earthquakes in February 2011, and settled in the beautiful bush of the Coromandel peninsula.

For many years, we were part of the faculty at the Terrigal Gestalt Institute, Australia, as visiting trainers and worked as supervisors for professional individuals and organisations.

  1. Dear Rudolph, Mirijam counselled me when you were living in South Brighton. I was so sad to hear she had passed away, as she was such a beautiful wise woman, who helped me to understand so much, while I saw her. She would have made such a difference in so many people’s lives.💗 what she taught me is of great benefit to me today. Thank you to you both. Bronwyn x
